Leaf Fold Tea Bag Rest
After the Steep, a Little Leaf. 🍃
There is a small moment between lifting the tea bag and taking the first sip. Leaf Fold gives that moment a place of its own: a shallow forest-green dish shaped like a gently curled leaf, ready to sit beside your cup.
The pointed tip, short stem and branching vein details make the outline instantly recognizable. One edge rises a little higher than the other, adding the impression of a leaf turning softly upward. It is a quiet detail for a familiar ritual, without a printed slogan or a busy pattern.

Set the Scene Before the Cup
Place the empty rest beside your mug before beginning your tea break. Choose a clean, level surface and leave a clear route between the cup and the dish. When there is already somewhere to put the tea bag, the pause feels more considered.
Keep the rest far enough from books, papers and electronics that any stray drip will not reach them. The dish offers a defined resting area, but moving a damp tea bag still calls for care.
A Leaf in the Details
The broad middle forms the shallow basin. Fine lines branch from a central vein, while a continuous raised edge follows the leaf outline toward the pointed tip. At the opposite end, the short curved stem completes the silhouette.
Its dark green shade brings depth to a pale table and sits comfortably beside cream cups, linen and wood. The shape remains interesting when empty, with the vein details becoming more visible as light moves across the surface.
- A leaf-shaped basin with a softly pointed tip.
- Gently lifted edges and a short curved stem.
- A central vein with fine branching details.
- A single forest-green color without printed decoration.
The Transfer, Taken Slowly ☕
Lift the tea bag according to its own instructions and allow excess liquid to drip back into the cup before moving it. Lower a suitably sized bag into the middle of the rest, keeping it inside the raised edge rather than draping it across the rim.
A tea bag with a string can be guided by that string. If you use a spoon to transfer it, lower it gently without scraping or pressing against the vein details. Do not squeeze the bag against the dish or handle a freshly used bag directly with your fingers.

A Small Break That Feels Complete
Picture settling by a window with a cup and a few unhurried minutes. The tea bag leaves the cup and comes to rest on the green leaf. You put the string where it will not catch on your hand, then turn your attention to the drink.
The rest does not change the tea itself. It simply gives one part of the routine a clearer destination, replacing an improvised corner of a plate or a search for somewhere suitable with a small object chosen for the moment.

Keep the Arrangement Light
Choose a tea bag that fits comfortably within the basin. Oversized sachets, bulky infusers or several bags piled together may not sit suitably. The shallow shape is intended as a temporary resting place, not a deep bowl or a container for storing liquid.
Keep an eye on any liquid that gathers and empty the dish before it approaches the rim. Do not move it while filled, balance it on a cup or use the stem to hang it over a mug. Support the base when moving the empty rest.
For the Table, Not the Heat Source
Leaf Fold is not a brewing vessel, a hot-pan support or a place to pour boiling water. Keep it away from flames, burners and other direct heat. Do not assume oven, microwave or dishwasher suitability; follow the care information supplied with the physical product.
Use a stable surface that suits your tea setting and check beneath the dish for moisture. It is a separate accessory, not a cover, strainer or attachment for your cup.
Close the Ritual with a Reset
Remove the tea bag after your break and attend to any remaining liquid. Wipe the basin, rim and vein details with a soft cloth, then dry the rest before putting it away. Do not leave used tea bags sitting in it indefinitely.
Avoid abrasive tools and forceful rubbing around the raised details. Clean the table underneath as well, especially if a drip landed there during the transfer. Follow any additional cleaning directions supplied with the product.
Stored with your tea accessories or left beside a favorite cup, the deep green leaf brings a gentle change of outline to everyday objects. One cup, one pause and a little place for the moment after steeping.
Tea bags, cups, spoons and other styling accessories pictured are not included.
